Marketing Automation Department

The Marketing Automation Specialist will be joining our growing Marketing Automation team to help develop, execute, manage and measure automation programs to drive higher engagement and close rates. You will assist with marketing and sales nurturing efforts as well as track trends and advise on best marketing automation practices. Our ideal candidate is a curious self-starter, a collaborative team player, extremely detail oriented, and wants to become an expert and grow within the Marketing Automation space.

You will report directly to and work closely with the Director, Marketing Automation Strategy. You will work day-to-day and collaboratively with teams across the agency, including client service, digital marketing, creative, data and leadership teams.

Responsibilities and essential job functions:

  • Act as administrator and technology expert for the marketing automation platforms our clients use (primarily Salesforce Marketing Cloud Account Engagement)
  • Collaborate with internal teams to develop email marketing campaigns, and nurture prospects through their buyer journey
  • Create email marketing campaigns and workflows, including campaign setup, list segmentation, email creation, conversion tracking, and landing page and form setup
  • Test, QA, deliver and create reports for client email marketing campaigns
  • Understand and evaluate campaign metrics and provide actionable insights and strategic recommendations.
  • Plan and perform A/B testing to improve conversion rates, campaign ROI, and sales growth
  • Partner with key stakeholders to ensure platform integration, data transfer and troubleshoot any technical or process errors
  • Manage the marketing lead database, ensuring data hygiene, compliance measures, accurate tracking, and troubleshooting any data issues within the MAP
  • Establish and maintain scalable processes that ensure best practices in campaign and lead management
  • Assist in delivering sales marketing automation platform training to clients’ sales teams
  • Create new marketing campaign dashboards in the MAP

Knowledge, skills and abilities:

  • Experience with Salesforce required (ideally 5+ years) 
  • Experience with Pardot (Marketing Cloud Account Engagement) required (5+ years)
  • Pardot (MCAE) certification required (received in the last two years)
  • ActiveDemand experience preferred (5+ years)
  • Experience with website analytics tools required.
  • Strong understanding of email marketing and marketing automation best practices
  • High attention to detail, problem solving and analytical skills
  • Highly self-motivated, proactive contributor who works well as an individual and within a team environment
  • Excellent written, interpersonal, communication skills
  • Microsoft Suite (required) 
  • Wrike (preferred)

Education & experience

  • Bachelor’s degree or above in marketing, business, communications, or related field
  • 5+ years of experience using Salesforce and Marketing Cloud Account Engagement
  • Pardot (MCAE) Specialist Certification
